Coastal Partnerships Network – Annual Form 2016
November 9, 2016 - November 10, 2016
The Coastal Partnerships Network Annual Forum is the national continuing professional development event for Coastal Partnership Officers, members of their Steering Groups or Boards and partner representatives. It provides up to date information on the latest legislation and key issues affecting or affected by coastal management and helps to showcase different aspects of the work of coastal partnerships to inspire others. It also serves as the key networking event for CPN members and partner organisations, enabling them to build links and benefit from shared experience on a national scale.
Spread over two days, starting with a field trip to the transformed, international award winning Durham Heritage Coast followed by an afternoon of national updates. The conference evening meal will be in the centre of Durham City and is included in the conference fee. The second day is given over to agenda setting workshops.
Who should attend? Coastal Partnership Officers from across the UK, their Board and Steering Group members and the organisations that work in partnership with them or that aspire to work in partnership at the coast.
Costs: The flat fee of £80 is per delegate and includes both days of the conference, the field trip and a 3 course networking dinner on the evening of the 17th. It does not cover accommodation and there are no reductions available.
Venue: The Old Town Hall is situated in the centre of Durham City handily placed on the East Coast Main Line.
Accommodation: There is a good choice of hotels locally, some within 5 minutes’ walk of the conference venue. Premier Inn is handy by the riverside in Durham City as is Radisson Blu. A wide range of other accommodation can be sourced via the “This is Durham” website.
